Tissue Bank

Built in 2007, the tissue library has an area of 100. As of June 2017, it collected:

More than 6,200 cases of gastrointestinal tumor and IBD fresh tissue specimens, including: tumor, para-tumor and normal tissues, about 110 cases per month;

Data base

The database was established in 2007. Now, it has the self-developed colorectal cancer plus gastric cancer case information system, and the joint-developed inflammatory bowel disease database;

The database adopts a centralized management and maintenance approach, which realizes data synchronization and sharing among multiple systems while ensuring data integrity and patient privacy, and provides strong data support for clinical work, scientific research and teaching.

There are over 8,700 completed cases with a follow-up volume of over 34,000 person x times and a follow-up rate of 95.9%. The use of research data (a total of more than 130 person x times) is supported, and 19 academic papers are published.
